Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering in Denmark is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer for a large data centre project. The role is hands-on, based on site, from pre-commissioning through to handover.

You will work with the commissioning leadership and site teams to ensure systems are installed, tested and commissioned to the highest standards. Data centre experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services incl. HVAC, CHW and LTHW systems.
• Data centre project experience is preferred.
• Site-based role with hands-on testing exposure.
• Good communication with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing IFC drawings, specifications and mechanical submittals
• Supporting the development and implementation of the commissioning plan
• Assisting with system boundaries, methodologies and sequencing
• Coordinating commissioning activities with package engineers, planners and vendors
• Preparing and reviewing commissioning checklists, scripts and test packs
• Witnessing and verifying commissioning and functional testing activities
• Supporting tag walks, walkdowns and system inspections
• Updating commissioning trackers, logs and progress reports
• Identifying snags, tracking close-out and supporting handover readiness
• Assisting with preparation of O&M documentation and training materials
• Supporting client commissioning meetings when required
