Job summary

Novonesis is seeking a Master Data Lead to drive Finance data management for our global SAP S/4HANA program. Based in Lyngby, Denmark, you will collaborate with Finance stakeholders and the Data Management team to ensure high-quality data and readiness for go-live.

You will lead scoping, mapping, cleansing, migration, and governance activities across the ERP lifecycle, shaping durable data standards and sustainable operating models.

Working alongside Finance stakeholders, the central Data Management team, and colleagues across the global organization, you will help ensure that Finance data is ready for one of the most significant transformation initiatives in the company. This is a unique opportunity to combine hands-on expertise with strategic impact while contributing to a harmonized S/4HANA solution across Novonesis worldwide.The role & your impactIn this role, you will combine operational execution with leadership and coordination of Finance data management activities in a complex global transformation program. Your contribution will be essential to ensuring high-quality Finance data, successful migration activities, and long-term governance foundations for the future S/4HANA environment.Your key responsibilities in this roleDrive Finance-specific data scoping, source-to-target mapping, selection criteria, cleansing, migration, validation activities, mock loads, cutover preparation, and go-live readiness.Partner with the Data Management team and Finance stakeholders to define Finance data standards and definitions.Support Finance data migration and cutover execution for the A2R track.Analyze, manage, and resolve Finance data issues and defects throughout the implementation lifecycle.Support the transition from implementation into business-as-usual operations by establishing governance, ownership, and data management standards for the future S/4HANA environment.What you’ll need to be successful in this roleDegree in Finance, IT, Data Management, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Finance data management in SAP implementation projects.Strong experience with data mapping, cleansing, migration, governance, and validation activities.Solid understanding of the full ERP implementation lifecycle.Strong knowledge of Finance-related data objects within SAP environments.Good understanding of end-to-end Finance processes.Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.Fluent English communication skills.In addition, you bringStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.The ability to identify data-related challenges and drive solutions to completion.A structured and proactive way of working.Strong ownership, accountability, and ability to work independently.Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams.Additional skills & interests we valueExperience with ECC to S/4HANA migration projects.Experience working within large-scale global transformation programs.Interest in data governance, master data management, and sustainable operating models.What we offer youAt Novonesis, you will become part of a global transformation program that will shape the future of our business processes and capabilities.
