Job summary

Maersk Training is seeking an ambitious Marine Instructor to join our team in Denmark. You will deliver high-quality courses within the maritime, wind, and energy sectors, both in classroom and online formats, and help develop new training scenarios and exercises.

You will maintain our advanced simulators, keep courses up to date, and support the sales team with expert knowledge to help customers improve safety and operational performance worldwide.

Qualifications

• Educational background as Marine Engineer or Dual Officer with offshore experience.
• Strong technical competence, including an interest for high voltage systems.
• Experience delivering training and/or developing others is an advantage.
• Fluent in English both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver (classroom and virtual) training within the maritime and energy industry.
• Conduct high-quality courses within the maritime-, wind- and energy industry.
• Maintain advanced simulators and develop new scenarios and exercises.
• Update and upgrade the courses you are assigned responsibility for.
• Develop new courses and services to customers.
• Keep an eye on technology development and industry trends within marine engineering, and share knowledge with the instructor team and commercial.
• Support our sales organisation with expert advice and technical knowledge.
