Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. in Copenhagen is seeking an on‑call Make-up Artist to join a high-performing retail team in Magasin K. You will provide an inspiring, personalized in-store experience, guide customers through the brand’s offerings, and educate on products to meet individual needs.

Based in-store, you will support peak shopping moments and events, work shifts as needed, and collaborate with colleagues to maintain visual standards and deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Qualified in make-up artistry or retail cosmetics; amateurs with strong skills considered.
• Previous retail experience in cosmetics is preferred.
• Proficiency in a Scandinavian language and English, written and spoken.
• Ability to work retail hours including weekends and special events.
• Willingness to take shifts on short notice.

The Role

As one of our on call employees you will jump in and work shifts when someone is on vacation, ill, on training or during key shopping moment.

You will work as a skilled make-up artist and you will combine your creative and technical expertise and passion for people to provide a welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experience which educates and delights our customers. With your passion for people; our company; products and services, you will ensure that each customer has a unique and inspirational in-store experience. You will walk the customer through the brand's offering and advise products in accordance with the customer's needs.

You will also work as part of a high performing team to create impact with in-store events and to ensure that the store always achieves our high standards of visual merchandising to stand out against our competitors.

You will be reporting to the ELC Department Store Manager in Magasin K.

The position as on call employee means your work hours will be agreed upon from time to time and depending on the needs. You will be based in Magasin K, but might work in different stores.

More Specifically, You Will

• Be responsible for reaching your individual sales' target
• Provide exceptional and authentic customer experience by finding the right products based on the customer's needs
• Have ownership over the counter - keep the counter tidy at all times, re-stock the counter and make sure that the visual merchandising is optimal to the brand's guidelines
• Establish collaborative relationships with your colleagues and your direct manager
• Perform services, participate in in-store events and being of help to your colleagues
• Administer cashiering and ensure customer satisfaction to improve customer loyalty that will add impact to the business' financial objectives

Qualifications

You are the perfect fit if you:

• Have qualification in make-up artistry/previous retail make up, but we welcome applicants with amateur level experience who are able to demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise
• Have previous retail experience preferably within cosmetics
• Have make-up or other beauty certificates (this is seen as a plus!)
• Are proficient in a Scandinavian language and in English both in verbal and written communication
• Are able to work independently and in a team in a dynamic environment
• Have the ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events
• ave the ability to take shifts with short notice
