Job summary

Ovivo Switzerland AG's Cembrane site in Denmark seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician to maintain all plant machinery, including preventive maintenance, repairs and service agreements. You will log maintenance activities, support the installation of new equipment, and coordinate spare parts with engineering and procurement.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and thrives in a fast-growing production environment, taking ownership of maintenance

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of mechanical troubleshooting and electrical troubleshooting is required.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day maintenance of pumps, motors, cooling systems, compressors, etc.
• Maintenance of heavy machinery (mixer, extruder, high-temperature furnace).
• Maintain service agreements and spare parts inventory for equipment (compressor, forklift).
• Proper logging of maintenance tasks for traceability and records.
• Support installation of new equipment and assist engineering as needed.

Job description

Cembrane specializes in providing a one-of-a-kind ceramic flat sheet membrane for water purification. Due to a significant increase in demand for our products, we are expanding our production capacity through substantial investments in new production equipment and growing the team.

To support this growth, we are seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain all plant machinery, including preventive maintenance, repairs, refurbishments, and managing service agreements. Coordination with engineering and procurement ensures spare parts are available. While the Production Manager will initially support you, you will ultimately manage/oversee all maintenance tasks independently.

The position is located in Lynge, Copenhagen Area, reporting to the local Head of Operations.

What is the role?

• Day-to-day maintenance such as pumps of various kinds, motors, cooling systems, compressors etc.
• Maintenance of heavy machinery such as mixer, extruder, high temperature furnace.
• Maintaining service agreements for equipment such as compressor, forklift etc.
• Proper logging of maintenance tasks for traceability.
• Support in installation of new equipment.
• Other tasks may apply.

The candidate

We seek a hands-on, self-driven maintenance technician who thrives in a fast-growing production environment and proactively contributes to building maintenance structure and routines. The ideal candidate will help develop and expand our preventive maintenance while also handling day-to-day troubleshooting. A solid understanding of both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting is a must. The educational background is less important than the ability to take ownership and maintain everything in order.

The candidate must be legally authorized to work i n Denmark.
