UNICEF in Copenhagen seeks a Logistics Assistant, G-5, for a temporary 364-day appointment. The role supports the Supply Division's logistics data flows, invoice processing, and shipment closures, contributing to timely and accurate freight management.

You will review EDI/SAP data, assist with retro approvals, and prepare reports to strengthen operational visibility and decision-making, while collaborating across teams in a dynamic humanitarian environment.

Formación

• Completion of secondary education with additional professional training in accounting, logistics / supply-chain management and/or general administration.
• Five years of experience in international transportation using multiple modes, cargo operations or freight forwarding.
• Fluency in English is required and knowledge of an additional UN language is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Support monitoring of data flows and freight forwarder performance to ensure accurate shipment information.
• Assist with processing retro approvals and verification of non-standard freight charges.
• Monitor shipment closures by tracking goods receipt, invoicing and payment status to enable timely finalization of freight POs in VISION/SAP.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and support timely payment of freight invoices.
• Prepare routine and ad-hoc logistics data reports to improve visibility and decision making.
