Job summary

OceanWave Maritime in Aalborg, Denmark, seeks a full-time Live-in Caregiver to support elderly clients at their home. You will assist with daily activities, monitor wellbeing, provide companionship, and help with meals and transportation to appointments.

The role requires a valid work permit or Danish citizenship, good English, CPR knowledge, and a compassionate, independent approach. Accommodation is provided; weekends/holidays may be required, with vacation days, health coverage, and training

Qualifications

• Must have valid work permit or Danish citizenship.
• Experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR.
• Excellent English communication; Danish is a plus.
• Compassionate, patient and reliable; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Prepare nutritious meals and accommodate dietary needs.
• Administer medication per prescribed schedules.
• Provide companionship and meaningful activities.
• Monitor health and report changes to professionals.
• Accompany clients to appointments or social activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment.
