Job summary

OceanWave Maritime in Aalborg, Denmark, seeks a full-time Live-in Caregiver to support elderly clients at their home. You will assist with daily activities, monitor wellbeing, provide companionship, and help with meals and transportation to appointments.

We are hiring a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Caregiver to provide exceptional care for our elderly clients in Aalborg Denmark. As a caregiver you will be responsible for assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing and meal preparation. You will also provide companionship and support to our clients while maintaining their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming and dressing.
• Prepare nutritious meals and ensure dietary requirements are met.
• Administer medication according to prescribed schedules.
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients.
• Monitor health conditions and report any changes or concerns to medical professionals.
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.

Requirements

• Valid work permit or Danish citizenship.
• Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Danish is a plus.
• Compassionate, patient and reliable.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time live-in position with accommodation provided. You may be required to work on weekends or holidays depending on the clients needs.

Salary

The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
