Job summary

BASE life science invites a data-driven professional to join our Data Insights & Analytics team, designing, building, automating, and maintaining robust data pipelines for pharmaceutical projects. You will work with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, SQL, Python and PySpark, ensuring data quality and traceability while collaborating with analysts and domain experts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years in a Data Engineer role, preferably in pharma.
• Experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Build, implement, and automate data ingestion pipelines from diverse sources.
• Develop data processing solutions with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Apply data quality practices to deliver high-quality, reliable data for downstream systems.
• Incorporate error handling, monitoring, and auditing for end-to-end data traceability.
• Design end-to-end tests ensuring data pipelines operate correctly across scenarios.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with business goals.
