Job summary

Weibel Scientific is seeking an experienced R&D Laboratory & Equipment Manager to lead our lab facilities and testing environments. You will own lab equipment, calibration processes, and workflows to support our R&D team across electronics, RF, and microwave domains.

Join an international, collaborative team within Integration, Test & Verification, shaping efficient test operations and ensuring safe, fit-for-purpose equipment for engineers and projects.

Qualifications

• Experience managing electronics and RF/MW laboratory equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to lead lab facilities and maintain compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability, safety, and compliance of lab equipment and facilities.
• Plan preventive maintenance, calibration, repairs, and replacements.
• Coordinate calibration with external partners.
• Lead procurement of new equipment (requirements, vendors, contracts).
• Maintain lifecycle docs and calibration certificates.
• Improve lab workflows and efficiency.
• Main contact for laboratory- and test-related matters.
• Support engineers during tests when equipment issues arise.
• Provide leadership and knowledge development for staff.
