Job summary

Sygaldry Technologies in Denmark seeks a senior researcher to drive quantum hardware modeling and architecture integration for AI-accelerated servers. You will lead projects across physics, engineering, and computer science, translating theory into practical device specifications.

Qualifications

• PhD in physics, applied physics, CS, EE or equivalent is required.
• Strong programming skills in a scientific computing environment are expected.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Proven track record of cross-team collaborative projects is valued.
• Experience translating theory to architecture and hardware specs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop theoretical and numerical models of qubit devices and gate operations.
• Design and evaluate system architectures under hardware-specific constraints.
• Translate device-level physics into architecture-level requirements and goals.
• Determine error budgets and gate fidelity requirements from targets.
• Build simulation and modeling tools for system design and roadmap planning.
• Work with hardware team to inform device design and validate models.
• Lead high-impact research projects with a multidisciplinary team.
