Job summary

Blackfield Associates are seeking a Lead Process Engineer to oversee CIP and Clean Utilities during Detailed Design for a pharmaceutical project in Denmark. You will act as the client technical point of contact and coordinate process engineering with the design/EPC contractor.

The role requires a strong background in pharmaceutical process systems, CIP/clean utilities, and experience through Detailed Design and construction.

Qualifications

• Strong process engineering background with pharma/reaction systems.
• Specific experience with CIP and Clean Utilities in pharma plants.
• Experience coordinating process design with EPC/engineering teams.
• HAZOP participation and multidisciplinary coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical review of CIP and Clean Utility design.
• Review process design docs, P&IDs and engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate with piping, mechanical, electrical and BIM disciplines.
• Review system design for functionality, constructability and maintainability.
• Provide technical direction to EPC/design contractors.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs and coordination.
• Support design changes and queries through construction.

Role Overview:

Client-side Lead Process Engineer responsible for technical oversight of CIP and Clean Utilities during Detailed Design, with continued involvement through construction. The role will act as the client technical point of contact and coordinate process engineering activities with the design/EPC contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical review of CIP and Clean Utility design.
• Review process design documentation, P&IDs and engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate process requirements with piping, mechanical, electrical and BIM disciplines.
• Review system design for functionality, constructability and maintainability.
• Provide technical direction and clarification to EPC/design contractors.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Support technical queries and design changes.
• Continue support through construction and installation activities.

Key Requirements:

• Strong process engineering background within pharmaceutical/process manufacturing.
• Specific experience with CIP and Clean Utilities.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical process systems and associated piping.
• Experience through Detailed Design and construction.
• API/pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
