Job summary

SSA Consulting Group is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer for a major M&E contractor project in Denmark. The role oversees the mechanical package from inception to completion, joining a seasoned project team with a strong European pipeline and long-term opportunities.

Key responsibilities include leading the on-site mechanical team, coordinating installation, testing, commissioning, and managing documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 7+ years' experience in Mechanical Engineering, with previous experience in a Lead or Senior role.
• Experience delivering large-scale construction or engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical engineering team on site.
• Coordinate mechanical installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Manage technical documentation, RFIs and engineering queries.
• Work closely with the client, design team and subcontractors.
• Monitor quality standards and ensure works are delivered safely.
• Assist with project planning, procurement and programme delivery.
• Mentor junior members of the engineering team.
