Job summary

SSA Group in Denmark is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to deliver the mechanical engineering package from start to finish on a major project. You will lead the on-site mechanical team, coordinate installation, testing and commissioning, manage technical documentation, RFIs and queries, and work closely with the client, design team and subcontractors to meet safety and quality standards.

7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering and a proven track record on large-scale construction

Qualifications

• Must-have degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with lead/senior responsibilities.
• Experience delivering large-scale construction/engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the on-site mechanical engineering team.
• Coordinate mechanical installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Manage technical documentation, RFIs and engineering queries.
• Work closely with client, design team and subcontractors.
• Monitor quality standards and ensure safe delivery.
• Assist with project planning, procurement and programme delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide leadership.
