Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S is seeking a Data Governance Professional in Denmark to advance privacy and AI compliance within Enterprise IT. You will translate regulatory requirements into practical IT and data lifecycle controls and drive DER activities across the organization.

You’ll collaborate with IT teams, data owners and stakeholders to shape policies, deliver guidance, and implement compliance improvements while growing your expertise in governance and information security.

Qualifications

• A foundation or interest in privacy and data protection, gained through study or practical experience, and an interest in AI governance, data governance and information security.
• Curiosity about how IT solutions, AI and data science work, including how data is collected, used, shared and retained.
• Analytical approach and the ability to translate complex information into clear explanations and practical actions.
• Good collaboration skills and the confidence to ask questions, seek input and follow up with stakeholders.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and developing privacy requirements, controls and guidance for IT solutions, translating regulatory and internal requirements into practical expectations across the IT and data lifecycle.
• Working with relevant specialists and process owners to keep this content current, address gaps and agree changes through governance processes.
• Providing practical support to IT teams and data owners on privacy and AI compliance, including documenting processing activities and risk assessments.
• Acting as Lead DER for Enterprise IT, driving and maintaining our local DER network and coordinating activities.
• Contributing to policies and frameworks covering privacy, AI and data science, and information security in collaboration with stakeholders across Novo.
