Job summary

Emendo Consulting Group seeks a Lead Consultant to run IT/OT transformation engagements, mainly in pharma and regulated environments. You will lead on-site projects, coordinate stakeholders, and drive measurable progress through structured planning and decisive action.

You’ll apply Observe, Think, Improve as a foundation, building credibility and delivering concrete improvements across projects and teams.

Qualifications

Picture your typical week: on Monday you’re on-site at a client, driving a project team through a critical phase of an IT/OT implementation. By Wednesday you’re facilitating a workshop across business, IT, and engineering to resolve a key delivery issue. The Role

You will lead projects and workstreams within IT/OT transformation engagements for our clients, mainly in (but not limited to) pharma and regulated industries— operating at the intersection of technology, business process, and organisational change. You are expected to create structure, drive progress, coordinate stakeholders, and make sure decisions turn into action. At Emendo, being a Lead Consultant means taking real ownership while continuing to build the judgement and client credibility required to lead increasingly complex engagements.

What You Will Do

• Lead projects and workstreams on site, driving IT/OT implementations across enterprise, operations management, process control, and process equipment layers
• Create structure and momentum through clear planning, governance, stakeholder alignment, and follow‑up
• Drive measurable progress in short cycles — turning project activity into tangible outcomes
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across business, IT, engineering, vendors, and other stakeholders
• Facilitate workshops, resolve issues, manage dependencies, and turn complex discussions into clear decisions and actions
• Engage with solution architecture, validation concepts, and implementation planning within complex project environments
• Build strong client relationships and become a trusted counterpart who takes ownership and gets things done
• Apply Observe, Think, Improve as your foundation and contribute to strengthening Emendo’s methods and tools

What It Takes

Must‑Have Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, IT, business, innovation, or a related discipline
• 2‑5+ years of hands‑on experience delivering IT/OT projects, digital transformations, or technology implementations — ideally within pharma or another regulated industry
• Experience taking ownership of a project, workstream, or significant delivery area
• Strong project management fundamentals, including planning, governance, risk and issue management, and stakeholder coordination
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to create structure in complex or changing environments
• Confidence working across business and technical stakeholders
• Fluent English, both written and spoken; Danish skills are strongly preferred, or a commitment to learn
• Willingness to work on site at client locations in Denmark and occasionally internationally

Nice to have — but not required

None of the following are dealbreakers. If you tick even one or two, it tells us you will ramp up faster — but we have seen great consultants arrive without any of them and build the expertise here.

• Experience with GxP compliance, computer system validation (CSV/CSA), or regulatory frameworks in life sciences
• Familiarity with enterprise systems such as ERP or MES, process control, automation, or IT‑OT integration
• Background in operational excellence, Lean, or continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience working across multiple sites or geographies in larger transformation programmes
• Familiarity with AI or automation tools applied to project delivery or enterprise transformation

• You prefer purely advisory work with limited implementation responsibility.
• You work best with narrow ownership and very clear boundaries.
• You have strong technical exposure but limited experience driving cross‑functional delivery.
