Job summary

NextSolutions in Greenland is seeking a Carpenter Supervisor to oversee a team of carpenters, ensure projects meet schedule and budget, and maintain quality standards.

You will work with the project manager, assign tasks, supervise safety, and train new carpenters; strong leadership and carpentry expertise required.

This role offers visa sponsorship and a monthly salary of $1800, with on-site work in Greenland.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools and materials.
• Leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow project specs.
• Physically fit with ability to lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of carpenters to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Assign tasks and provide guidance to team members.
• Ensure that all carpentry work meets quality standards and follows project specifications.
• Collaborate with the project manager to plan and schedule tasks for the team.
• Train new carpenters on company policies, procedures and safety protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels and order materials as needed.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members.
