Job summary

GEA Group in Denmark is seeking a technical designer/mechanical engineer to create 2D and 3D layouts and models for customer projects, spanning pharma, food and environmental sectors. You will lead layout work, documentation and design for sales proposals, coordinating with the Sales team and colleagues in India, and preparing detailed 3D models and P&ID drawings.

Qualifications

• Background as technical designer, mechanical or process engineer.
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor, P&ID and preferably Plant 3D.
• Ability to manage multiple projects across different phases.
• Fluent in Danish and English.

Responsibilities

• Be a key design contact for the Sales team and stakeholders, providing design input for proposals and projects.
• Create 2D layouts, factory layouts and 3D models using Autodesk Inventor/Navisworks; manage diagrams and documentation with P&ID and Vault.
• Update 3D layouts with system inputs and ensure integration into the overall layout and piping connections.
• Collaborate with colleagues in India; coordinate and review design packages; travel up to 20 days per year.
