Job summary

TransaLink is seeking a dedicated Gardener to design, plant, and maintain outdoor spaces in Roskilde. You will work on gardens and parks, performing lawn care, pruning, watering, and fabricating simple landscape features.

The ideal candidate has proven gardening experience, knowledge of plants and tools, and good teamwork and communication skills. Accommodation is provided, and the role is a full-time position in Roskilde.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Gardener or similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of plants, trees, flowers, and landscaping techniques.
• Ability to operate and maintain various gardening tools and equipment.
• Physical stamina to handle manual labor in all weather conditions.
• Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.
• Good communication skills to work with team members or clients.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing landscaping plans for gardens and public spaces.
• Planting, pruning, and maintaining trees, shrubs, and flowers.
• Regular mowing of lawns and other lawn care tasks.
• Identifying and treating plant diseases or pest infestations.
• Maintaining garden equipment and tools.
• Ensuring proper irrigation systems are in place and functioning correctly.
• Assisting with construction of new garden features or structures.
