Job summary

FlexiRemote Solutions is seeking a skilled Gardener to join our team at Roskilde City Park in Denmark. The role involves maintaining flower beds, lawns and hedges, planting, mowing, pruning and pest monitoring to keep the park vibrant and welcoming.

This full-time position offers regular hours Monday to Friday and opportunities to contribute to landscape design, improve plant health, and work with visitors in a beautiful outdoor setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Gardener or similar role.
• Knowledge of plants, flowers, trees and lawn care techniques.
• Ability to operate gardening equipment safely and effectively.
• Physical fitness to perform tasks such as lifting heavy bags of soil or mulch.
• Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.
• Good communication skills to work with team members and park visitors.

Responsibilities

• Planting, watering, pruning, and weeding flower beds and gardens.
• Mowing and maintaining lawns.
• Maintaining hedges, shrubs and other greenery.
• Removing weeds and debris from paths and walkways.
• Monitoring plant health and identifying pests or diseases.
• Applying fertilizers and pesticides as needed.
• Assisting with the design and layout of new garden areas.
• Operating gardening equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers and hedge clippers.
• Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition.

Job description

We are in search of a skilled and experienced Gardener to join our team at Roskilde City Park in Denmark. As a Gardener you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the parks gardens lawns and flower beds. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Responsibilities

• Planting watering pruning and weeding flower beds and gardens
• Mowing and maintaining lawns
• Maintaining hedges shrubs and other greenery
• Removing weeds and debris from paths and walkways
• Monitoring plant health and identifying any pests or diseases
• Applying fertilizers and pesticides as needed
• Assisting with the design and layout of new garden areas
• Operating gardening equipment such as lawn mowers trimmers and hedge clippers
• Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition
• Following safety protocols at all times

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with regular work hours from Monday to Friday. However flexibility may be required during busy seasons or for urgent projects. The job does not come with accommodation but is located in the beautiful city of Roskilde.
