Job summary

MSL Engineering Ltd. is seeking a Junior Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of mechanical projects across Ireland and Europe, primarily within the Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences sector. The role involves assisting with cost control, forecasting, and reporting, and supporting procurement and payments.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
• Strong numerical and Excel skills.
• Willingness to travel across Europe.
• Proactive attitude with a desire to learn and progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cost control, forecasting, and Monthly reporting.
• Support subcontractor procurement, valuations, and payments.
• Track variations and change orders.
• Carry out measurement and take-offs from drawings and BIM.
• Contribute to monthly commercial reporting.
• Support senior QS on site in Ireland and across Europe.
