Job summary

MSL Engineering Ltd. is seeking a Junior Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of mechanical projects across Ireland and Europe, primarily within the Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences sector.

You will assist with cost control, forecasting, measurements from drawings and BIM, and support senior QS on site in Ireland and across Europe. A degree in Quantity Surveying or related field and strong Excel skills are required; willingness to travel across Europe.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
• Strong numerical and Excel skills.
• Willingness to travel across Europe.
• Proactive attitude with a desire to learn and progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cost control, forecasting, and Monthly reporting.
• Support subcontractor procurement, valuations, and payments
• Track variations and change orders
• Carry out measurement and take‑offs from drawings and BIM
• Contribute to monthly commercial reporting
• Support senior QSs on site in Ireland and across Europe
