Job summary

Go Globie is hiring a Junior Software Engineer to help build AI-powered travel features. You’ll take over a production platform, collaborate directly with the founders, and shape the product and engineering roadmap with a high degree of ownership. This is not a traditional junior role, offering rapid learning and significant impact.

You’ll work on a modern TypeScript stack with AI integrations, contributing to both frontend and backend to deliver real user experiences and scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Early in your software engineering career. You might be an exceptional recent graduate or have 1–3 years of professional experience.
• Hands-on experience building real software products through internships, startups, personal projects or professional work.
• Love building products – not just writing code.
• Curious about AI, LLMs and modern software development.
• Enjoy solving complex technical challenges.
• Take ownership and thrive in an environment with a high degree of autonomy.
• Enjoy working in a fast-moving startup where priorities evolve quickly.
• Have a genuine interest in travel and helping shape products around real user needs.

Responsibilities

• Building and shipping new product features across the platform
• Developing AI-driven experiences that improve how people plan and book travel
• Working across both frontend and backend to create seamless user experiences
• Integrating external APIs and travel services
• Improving scalability, reliability and performance as we grow
• Contributing to technical decisions and continuously evolving our architecture
• Collaborating closely with the founders to turn ideas into products used by real customers
