West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. in Horsens, Denmark, is seeking a Jr Assoc, IT Support to act as service desk support for site users and production-related needs.

You will handle service requests, incidents, troubleshooting, and coordinate with global IT teams to support site operations and project delivery. This is a fixed-term 9-month position, with potential extension.

Fluent Danish and good English are required; prior IT support in manufacturing is a plus.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 1 year of IT support experience with hardware, software, user devices, and site-based infrastructure.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environments is a plus.

Mansioni

Job Summary

We are looking for an IT professional to join our Horsens site, acting as service desk support for site users and production-related needs. This role will be responsible for handling service requests, incident resolution, troubleshooting, and coordination with global IT teams to support site operations and project delivery.

This is a fixed-term 9-month position with the possibility of extension.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as service desk support for the Horsens site, handling requests for service delivery and incident resolution.
• Respond to support needs through phone, Teams calls, and Jira tickets, and troubleshoot issues to resolution or escalation as needed.
• Work with global IT teams on current and new project delivery impacting the Horsens site, including network, infrastructure, and software-related activities.
• Provide support for MES production systems, LAN servers and network from the perspective of local IT, software installations, and deployment of end-user devices including computers, peripherals, printers, pocket PC scanners, and company mobile phones.
• Use relevant IT tools and platforms.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Work Experience

• Minimum one year experience in information technology support, including hands-on experience supporting hardware, software, user devices, and site-based infrastructure.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or production environments is a plus.

Professional and Personal Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Azure, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), and support in Microsoft environments.
• Knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet, VMware vSphere, Veeam, Apple JAMF, and similar infrastructure technologies.
• Experience supporting MES or other production support systems.
• Experience with service desk tools, ticket queues, and handling incidents and service requests, preferably in Jira.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both local users and global technical teams.
• Structured and detail-oriented, with the ability to follow procedures, maintain documentation, and work within applicable security and quality requirements.
• Fluent Danish language skills are required.
• Good working proficiency inEnglish, including speaking, reading, and writing.

License and Certifications

Microsoft, Cisco, and vSphere certifications or relevant training are a plus.

Pay Transparency:

The annual base salary range for this position iskr440,400.00 - kr560,500.00. Total target compensation is determined using objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, market benchmarks, geographic location, and the scope and responsibilities of the role.

This position may be eligible for variable compensation and other incentive programs in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans within the country of employment. In addition, team members are eligible to participate in the company’s benefits and total rewards programs applicable to their location and employment status.
