Job summary

InCommodities Asset Management in Aarhus, Denmark, seeks an IT Infrastructure Engineer to maintain a secure, scalable Microsoft-based environment including Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, and endpoint management. Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT operations or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience supporting Windows and macOS environments.
• Proven ability to manage Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID and identity/access controls.
• Experience provisioning VMs in cloud/on-prem and endpoint management tools.
• Familiarity with security standards and network fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Run and improve Microsoft 365 and Azure environment, Entra ID, and endpoint management.
• Operate corporate network, remote access, VPN, Wi‑Fi, and vendor coordination.
• Manage device lifecycle from provisioning to offboarding.
• Strengthen security posture with IAM, policies, and compliance initiatives.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell and Terraform.
• Ensure monitoring, documentation, and reliable runbooks.

What you’ll do

You’ll be part of a small, newly formed infrastructure and platform team, taking hands‑on responsibility for keeping our IT environment healthy, secure, and ready for growth. Day‑to‑day, you’ll:

• Run and improve our Microsoft 365 and Azure environment, including Entra ID, Intune, and endpoint management
• Operate our corporate network and remote access, VPN, Wi‑Fi, secure remote access, and vendor coordination; explore modern approaches such as ZTNA and SASE
• Manage device lifecycle end‑to‑end: provisioning, configuring, securing, patching, and offboarding laptops and mobile devices for new and existing employees
• Strengthen our day‑to‑day security posture, through identity and access management, baseline policies, and supporting security/compliance initiatives such as NIS2
• Automate recurring infrastructure tasks using PowerShell, Terraform or similar tooling
• Ensure systems are monitored, documented, and reliable, keeping both uptime and transparency high (runbooks, inventory, and clear ownership)

What you bring

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in IT operations and/or, infrastructure engineering.
• Hands‑on experience supporting Windows and macOS environments, including device administration and troubleshooting
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (including Exchange Online), Azure AD/Entra ID, and identity/access management
• Proven ability to provision and manage virtual machines in cloud and/or on‑prem environments (e.g., Azure, VMware, Hyper‑V)
• Experience with device management tools such as Intune, MDM solutions, Autopilot, or similar technologies
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls)
• Familiarity with automation/scripting (PowerShell, Terraform, or similar)
• Experience with IT security standards (e.g., NIS2/ISO 27001), containerization, or Kubernetes (e.g., AKS) is a plus
• You’re fluent in English, written and spoken
