Arla Foods invites you to join the IT Graduate Programme, a two-year journey with two rotations designed to build a strong foundation in IT and Digital. You’ll work hands-on on real projects and benefit from mentorship from experienced colleagues and a supportive graduate community.

During the rotations you’ll gain broad exposure across Arla’s IT & Digital organisation, develop business co-creation skills with stakeholders, and explore areas such as data, cybersecurity, and network consultancy

About Our IT Graduate Programme

The IT Graduate Programme is a two‑year opportunity designed to kickstart your career after graduation. Through two different rotations, you’ll gain a broad and well‑rounded experience across Arla’s IT & Digital organisation, build your professional and personal skills, and explore different areas of IT & Digital.

The programme opens up broad career possibilities and will help prepare you for future opportunities within Arla IT & Digital after completing the programme.

As an IT Graduate, you’ll become part of a highly competent and diverse IT & Digital organisation, contributing to both daily operations and projects that help move our global business forward.

Throughout the programme, your two rotations will give you different perspectives and opportunities to develop:

First rotation

Before joining Arla, you’ll already know where your graduate journey will begin and who your manager will be. Your first rotation will focus on building a strong foundation in core IT & Digital capabilities.

• Depending on your role, this could mean working with data to identify trends or improve reporting, supporting the development or implementation of an IT solution, helping strengthen the reliability or security of our systems, improving an existing digital process, or contributing to a technical project together with experienced colleagues.

Second rotation

Your second rotation will focus on developing your business co‑creation skills, giving you the opportunity to work closely with the business and strengthen your stakeholder engagement capabilities. You’ll see how Arla’s IT & Digital organisation supports the business from end to end, including areas such as Supply Chain, Commercial and Cross‑functions.

• Here, the challenge might be understanding a problem faced by colleagues in Supply Chain, Commercial or Cross‑functions and helping shape a technology solution, exploring how a manual process could be automated, using data to support better decision‑making, or helping introduce a new digital solution for users across the business.

As part of your graduate journey, we’ll provide you with broad and well‑rounded experience across Arla’s IT & Digital organisation. Your rotations could take you into areas such as data science, solutions consultancy, network consultancy, cybersecurity, or others.

By experiencing different parts of IT & Digital, you’ll start to understand not only the technology behind a global organisation, but also the people and business needs it supports. You’ll leave the programme with broader experience, a strong network and a clearer understanding of where you want to take your career at Arla.

You Are

• Aspiring to build a career in IT
• Living in Denmark
• Holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM field, completed within two years before the programme starts in September 2027
• Analytical and structured in your approach, with strong problem‑solving skills and a willingness to learn, explore, and take on new challenges
• Curious about how technology and digital solutions can support and create value for the business
• Open to new people and perspectives, comfortable communicating with others, and motivated to be an active part of the graduate community
