Job summary

Tryg Forsikring A/S in Ballerup is seeking a Domain Architect to modernize Finance applications and shape the IT roadmap. You will advise on SAP Finance modules FI/CO, FSCD and related systems, and collaborate with external developers.

The role combines hands-on architectural leadership with collaboration across business and IT, balancing strategic objectives with day-to-day operations. On-site presence in Ballerup is expected 3–4 days per week.

About the job | Put your capabilities to work and take responsibility

As a Domain Architect, you will play a crucial role in all finance activities, aiming to modernize our systems and capabilities to better support our customer journey. You will be involved in day-to-day operations, advising on tasks related to finance applications, and acting as an advisor to our IT sourcing partners.

Your responsibilities will include continuous improvement, ensuring the architecture develops as planned and is executed effectively. You will also help prepare and implement our IT strategic roadmap. You will be instrumental in our future use of SAP S/4Hana.

Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration Finance solutions


• Providing technical expertise and guidance on SAP Finance modules (FI, CO, FSCD) and other finance systems (Mainframe, SICS etc.) together with our architects


• Developing and implementing best practices for business processes and development


• Coordinating with our external developers

The positionis located in Ballerup (Denmark) and we currently work from the office in Ballerup 3-4 days per week.

About you | Solid understanding of code development

You may have worked as an architect or broadly within finance applications. Experience with SAP is of course a plus. Understanding finance processes and \"talking the language\" is key to succeeding in this role.

You have a good business understanding, a process-oriented mindset, and a structured approach to your tasks. You exude credibility, are passionate about your subject, and are visionary with a broad overview. You possess technical flair and know how to level with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are good at sharing knowledge and can communicate effectively with people at all levels in the organization, from SME to CFO. You thrive both working independently and, in a team, taking responsibility in the role of Architect.

About us | Focusing on Finans and HR Systems

The finance system landscape in Tryg is complex, integrating with most of our business systems in the Nordic countries. We use SAP ECC as our ERP system, which is strategically important in Tryg, supporting our critical business processes in Finance and Procurement. Our SAP system consists of on-premise systems, as well as SAP cloud systems, including modules such as FI/CO, FSCD, BW, PI/PO, and SAP Cloud Concur and Ariba. Additionally, we use mainframe systems technology to deliver solutions for our users.

You will join our Enterprise Solutions area in the Business IT and Digitalization department (BID), within the team responsible for developing and maintaining IT solutions for finance in the Nordic countries. We are a team of currently 10 people focusing on Finance and HR systems together with our strategic partners.
