Job summary

AutoProff is seeking an IT Administrator to own day‑to‑day IT operations, support colleagues, and manage devices, systems, networks and security from our Vejle headquarters. Based at our headquarters in Vejle, Denmark, you’ll be the primary IT contact for AutoProff and lead IT operations and support with a dedicated focus on delivering an excellent IT experience to our employees with a human touch.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT administration, support or a similar role.
• Experience with Windows and macOS in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with Jamf, Intune, Microsoft 365 and Azure AD.
• Knowledge of Identity & Access Management, including AD, SSO and MFA, ideally with Okta.
• Knowledge of network technologies including routers, VPN and Wi‑Fi, ideally with Cisco.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluency in Danish and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily IT operation activities and provide user support with incidents and change requests.
• Administrate and support of state-of-the-art IT ecosystems (End-user devices, SaaS and on-premises applications, unified communication, meeting rooms, network equipment etc).
• End-to-end responsible for managing the lifecycle of every IT asset (procurement strategy, budget, device setup and decommissioning) while maintaining up to date our software & hardware asset management systems.
• Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
• Upgrading, installing, and configuring new hardware and software to meet our objectives.
• Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.
• Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data.
• Developing data retrieval and recovery procedures.
• Designing and implementing efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems.
• Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration.
• Act as a primary local IT point of contact and willing to travel occasionally to other company locations.
• Maintain local IT stock, ensure equipment is available when needed.
• Some limited travel to other company locations and AutoScout24’s HQ in Munich should be expected.

We’re looking for a new colleague to join us as our new IT Administrator and ensure AutoProff’s day-to-day IT is running smoothly – helping colleagues with their everyday IT needs while taking care of our devices, systems, networks and security.

You’ll take ownership of IT operations at AutoProff while working closely with the AutoScout24 Employee Tech team in Munich.

About the role

Based at our headquarters in Vejle, Denmark, you’ll be the primary IT point of contact for AutoProff and lead IT Operations and support with a fully dedicated focus on providing an amazing IT Support experience to our employees with a human touch.

It’s a broad, hands-on role covering daily IT operations and support, as well as migration projects and improvements to our IT setup.

We’re always looking for better ways of doing things, so simplifying processes, automating recurring tasks and fixing issues at their root cause will also be part of the job.

What you’ll be doing

What we’re looking for

• A relevant IT education or vocational/apprenticeship background.
• 4+ years of experience in IT administration, support or a similar role.
• Solid experience with IT systems, networks, system security and IT administration.
• Experience supporting Windows and macOS in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with Jamf, Intune, Microsoft 365 and Azure AD.
