Qualifications

• Education Requirements: Completion of secondary education with 7 years of relevant experience; a university degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or related field is desirable and may reduce some required years of experience; professional accounting or auditing certification is an asset.
• Experience Requirements: Relevant experience in audit, assurance, compliance, risk management, or related audit fields; familiarity with UN system or international organizations is desirable; experience with ERP systems (e.g., Agresso/Unit4) is desirable; knowledge of data analytics, continuous auditing, and related audit technologies is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop risk-based audit programs and conduct fieldwork using established IAIG methodologies and standards.
• Review terms of reference and audit reports from outsourced auditors; ensure compliance and identify gaps.
• Provide post-audit administration in ERP and monitor management actions; prepare audit committee materials as needed.
• Use data analysis and digital tools, including AI-enabled tools where authorized, to support audits and reporting.
