University of Copenhagen invites applications for Instructor TAs for Block 3 and 4 physics and nanoscience courses in 2027. Employment starts 1 February 2027; blocks run February–June.
TAs assist with weekly exercises, attend meetings with instructors, and grade assignments. Applicants must be enrolled in a higher education program, have completed at least two years in Physics or Nanoscience, and may need Danish-language teaching proficiency for Danish courses.
The Niels Bohr Institute is looking for Instructors for courses offered in the B.Sc. and M.Sc. educations on Physics and Nanoscience in the period February 1st to June 30th, 2027.
We are looking for students who are eager to teach and interested in developing both academically and as educators.
We expect to hire TAs for the following courses. Since we may receive multiple applications for the same positions, we encourage you to indicate several course preferences in your application.
Start date for employment is 1 February 2027.

Qualifications
The positions may be filled by students from Physics and Nanoscience who have passed 2 years of one of these bachelor educations. Other students may be hired if they are assessed to be qualified for the positions. In these cases, please enclose documentation of other relevant qualifications such as mentor work or other teaching, high school grades or recommendations.
It is a prerequisite that you are enrolled in a higher education. In addition, proficiency in teaching in Danish is required for those wishing to teach the Danish‑language courses.
We expect that you, as far as possible, have participated in the Instructor Workshop at the Department of Science Education (IND), if you have not participated previously. In the education you will learn didactic tools that you can use in your role as an instructor. Please attach the diploma from the workshop if you have previously participated.
Terms of employment
Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Studenterundervisernes Landsforbund: Cirkulære om overenskomst for Studenterundervisere ved universiteter mv.
The employment will terminate without further notice when your enrolment as a student ends. Your hours will be individually arranged for each block/semester. You are not guaranteed hours in every block. Salary is 259,38 kr. / hour (August 2026 level).

NB: The majority of candidates will receive emails with information during December 2026. As recruitment is an ongoing process, there will be some positions for block 3 that will be filled in January 2027 and likewise some positions for block 4 that will be filled in March 2027.
