UNICEF in Copenhagen seeks a Monitoring Specialist, P-3, for a 364-day temporary position to lead forecasting and supply planning strengthening across immunization, nutrition and pharmaceuticals. You will collaborate with WHO, partners, and country teams to develop tools and guidance, build capacity, and drive global program performance.

The role requires MSc-level education, at least 5 years in health supply chains, and fluency in English with international project experience.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of progressively responsible work experience in strengthening health supply chains
• Minimum 3 years of experience in direct and relevant support and collaboration with country governments in low- and middle-income countries
• First-hand experience in project management of global and cross-country projects with multiple stakeholders
• Demonstrable experience with development of communication and training materials, as well as training and meeting facilitation
• Demonstrable experience in conceptualizing, planning and executing projects as well as transfer of knowledge and skills
• Knowledge of global health forecasting, quantification, and supply planning processes and tools would be a strong asset

Responsabilités

• Develop and refine the Immunization and Nutrition Forecasting and Supply Planning Toolbox for use in countries
• Create implementation materials and dissemination methods (guides, training materials, webinars, forums)
• Coordinate with partners to align country support on forecasting and supply planning
• Provide training and country visits related to forecasting and supply planning
• Oversee IT projects supporting data generation for forecasting and supply planning
• Support initiatives related to forecasting and supply planning capacity strengthening in UNICEF and countries
• Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor
