Job summary

Flying Tiger Copenhagen, headquartered in Copenhagen, seeks an Assortment Analyst to optimize the IMEA region's product mix. You will partner with Commercial, Retail and franchise teams to translate data and market insights into relevant assortments that drive sales and profitability across stores and channels.

You will analyze trends, support seasonal launches, and contribute to planning with a strong Excel/BI toolkit.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
2–4 years in retail planning, merchandising, category management, or similar analytical role.
Strong commercial mindset and passion for retail and customer behavior.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to transform data into actionable insights.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with BI and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Monitor product performance and identify opportunities to improve assortment relevance, sales, and profitability.
Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, and market insights to support assortment decisions.
Contribute to assortment reviews and recommend commercial actions based on data.
Support planning of seasonal launches, campaigns, and commercial calendars.
Analyze product commitments and inventory plans to maximize performance.
Collaborate with Demand Planning and Supply Chain to optimize availability and inventory health.
Develop assortment and space recommendations for new and existing stores.
Present recommendations to regional leadership and global stakeholders.
Conduct ad hoc analyses supporting strategic initiatives.
