Job summary

RWE Offshore Wind is seeking an O&M Optimisation Specialist MV/HV to drive maintenance optimisation for HV/MV electrical equipment across offshore sites. You will work with senior experts to specify preventive and corrective maintenance best practices, reduce downtime, and support digital asset management.

English is essential; German is a plus, and travel to offshore sites is expected. The role emphasizes leading projects, establishing technical networks, and interfacing with Engineering

Qualifications

• Advanced senior engineering education or equivalent.
• 3+ years on-site O&M experience with HV/MV electrical equipment.
• Strong project management skills across complex international O&M projects.
• Ability to motivate diverse teams and lead, inspire and delegate.
• Excellent English; German a plus; willing to travel.
• Medical certificates for Offshore Work and relevant trainings an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead optimisation of maintenance scope and execution for HV/MV equipment across the fleet.
• Collaborate with sites to identify corrective actions and consolidate RCA insights.
• Develop fleet-wide database of HV/MV equipment information for digital management.
• Establish technical expert networks and promote information exchange.
• Facilitate user-group meetings and convert input into actionable measures.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Governance for modification processes.
