Lead Health, Safety and Environmental management across Centum’s operations. Build, implement and improve the policies, ISO management systems, training, site controls and reporting that support safe, compliant project delivery.
Lead the HSE function and work closely with project delivery, Operations, Commercial, HR, IMS, QAQC and senior management.
Build the system, know what is happening on site and close the actions. Set clear standards, challenge poor practice and get involved directly where the work needs done.
This is a hands‑on role. While the support structure develops, personally complete essential work where required and ensure site files, compliance checks, dashboards, audits and corrective actions are maintained and followed through.
Experience matters. Evidence earns trust. Tell us what you personally owned and the results you delivered.
Anonymised examples and figures are welcome. We may follow up with references; confidential employer, client or employee records are not required.
Effective site controls, reliable compliance records, current training and certification information, accurate dashboards, effective ISO systems and verified closure of corrective actions. Project teams must understand and apply the required standards.
Lead the HSE function, set requirements and challenge practices that expose people or the business to avoidable risk. Ensure urgent risks receive immediate action. Escalate significant incidents, compliance gaps and resource requirements promptly to the Managing Director and relevant senior leaders.
Help shape HSE delivery across a growing engineering business and major European projects. Bring your electrical sector experience, build effective systems and make a visible difference on site.
European assignments may include rotation arrangements where applicable. Travel, accommodation and any assignment‑specific pay or tax arrangements will be explained during recruitment and depend on the project, employment arrangements and individual circumstances.
A dashboard can flag a problem. It cannot walk the site and fix it.
Expect office attendance, site involvement and travel across Ireland, the UK and Europe. Some assignments may require extended periods away from home.
You must be prepared to meet the teams, inspect the work and follow actions through in person. This is not a home‑based reporting role with an occasional site visit.
