Job summary

Ganymede is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor (HSE) to join a major engineering and automation project in Odense, Denmark. This 9-month contract offers a competitive daily rate and a structured work week, with a focus on maintaining high health and safety standards on site.

You will identify risks, ensure compliance with Danish legislation, and support project teams in implementing effective safety measures.

Qualifications

• Experience as HSE Rep/Officer/Coordinator or similar role.
• Background in engineering, automation, logistics, construction or related environment.
• Strong knowledge of Danish health and safety legislation and site requirements.
• Danish OSH training (Arbejdsmiljøuddannelse) or NEBOSH or equivalent qualification.
• Residence in Denmark with full legal working rights.
• Danish nationality and fluent Danish and English skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day health and safety activities on site.
• Ensure compliance with Danish health and safety laws and site requirements.
• Complete, review and maintain risk assessments.
• Identify hazards and help implement effective controls.
• Act as a key point of contact for HSE matters across the project.
• Support site inspections, audits and safety documentation.
• Provide practical health and safety guidance to project personnel.
• Maintain a proactive approach to workplace safety.
