Job summary

FirePoint Rocket Technology is building a new advanced defence manufacturing facility in Denmark. We seek a hands-on Payroll & HR Operations Specialist to establish reliable people processes for a multi-shift production environment at our facility in Vojens, Denmark.

Reporting to the CHRO, you will coordinate Danish payroll, manage time and attendance in WorkLinq, and handle contracts, pension, and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on Danish payroll and HR administration experience.
• Knowledge of Danish payroll practices and collective agreements.
• Confidence using payroll and HR systems; WorkLinq or similar tools.
• Strong attention to detail with a service-minded approach.
• Fluent in Danish and English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the monthly Danish payroll process with our external provider.
• Own accurate time and attendance administration in WorkLinq with managers to resolve discrepancies.
• Manage HR administration including contracts, changes, pension and benefits, and offboarding.
• Maintain employee records and HR systems compliant with Danish requirements and collective agreements.
• Improve HR processes and reporting as the workforce grows.

HR Payroll & Operations Specialist

About FPRT

FirePoint Rocket Technology is building a new advanced defence manufacturing facility in Denmark. As we grow towards 300+ employees, we are looking for a hands-on Payroll & HR Operations Specialist to establish reliable people processes and support our transition to a multi-shift production environment.

Reporting to the CHRO, you will work closely with Finance, managers and external payroll and benefits providers. This is an opportunity to shape HR operations from an early stage, not simply maintain existing processes.

What you’ll do

• Coordinate the monthly Danish payroll process, checking salaries, shifts, overtime, allowances and payroll data with our external provider.
• Own accurate time and attendance administration in WorkLinq, working with managers to resolve discrepancies.
• Manage essential HR administration, including contracts, employee changes, pension and benefits coordination, and offboarding.
• Keep employee records and HR systems accurate, organised and compliant with Danish requirements and collective agreements.
• Improve everyday HR processes and reporting as the workforce grows, supporting a potential future transition to in-house payroll.

What we’re looking for

• 3-5+ years of hands‑on experience with Danish payroll and HR administration; manufacturing or shift‑based experience is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of Danish employment, tax, pension and payroll practices, including collective agreements.
• Confidence using payroll, HR and time‑registration systems; experience with WorkLinq or similar tools is welcome.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy and a practical, service‑minded approach.
• Strong language skills in Danish and English, oral and written
