Job summary

Flyper seeks a Preservation Architect in Vejle, Denmark, to preserve and restore historic buildings. This is a contract role with an initial salary of 1700$ per month, plus accommodation.

The role involves researching historic structures, developing preservation strategies, coordinating with construction teams, and ensuring compliance with preservation standards. Applicants with or without prior preservation experience are welcome as training and mentorship are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Preservation/restoration experience preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Knowledge of building codes and historical preservation guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills with team members, clients and authorities.
• Biometric passport or ability to obtain one for international travel.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze historic buildings and structures.
• Develop preservation plans and strategies.
• Assess condition and identify repairs/restoration needs.
• Collaborate with construction teams to execute preservation plans.
• Monitor progress and ensure preservation standards are met.
• Obtain permits and approvals from authorities.
