Job summary

Ørsted is seeking a Head of Strategy Execution and Projects to lead a high-performing team and drive enterprise-wide deployment of our highest strategic priorities. You'll translate strategic ambitions into actionable programmes and projects that create lasting business impact across the organisation.

You’ll collaborate with senior leaders across Strategy, Finance, People & Culture, and Communications to shape multi-year plans, prioritise initiatives, and realise value.

Qualifications

• Strong track record of leading, developing, and motivating high-performing teams.
• Significant experience from strategy consulting, corporate strategy, transformation, or similar leadership environments.
• Demonstrate strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities, translating complexity into clear actions.
• Build trusted relationships and collaborate with senior stakeholders across functions.
• Communicate clearly and confidently to diverse audiences and influence executive decisions.
• Master’s degree in business, economics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience from the energy or renewable industry is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing Strategy Execution and Projects team and empower its development.
• Own and continuously improve the annual strategy cycle with cross-functional collaboration.
• Translate Ørsted’s highest strategic priorities into multi-year plans and execution roadmaps.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to prioritise and deliver strategic initiatives with measurable impact.
• Provide strategic guidance on business cases, assessments, implementation planning, and value realisation.
• Lead enterprise-critical projects to secure sustainable results.

Education

Master’s degree in business, economics, or related field
