Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Head of Business Process Excellence to lead the design, governance, and ongoing improvement of cross-functional business processes across the value chain. The role focuses on eliminating complexity, speeding execution, and ensuring seamless integration between operations and Manufacturing stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Processes or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and E2E business processes.
• Experience with ERP/MES and manufacturing digital environments.
• Proven experience in process standardization and transform.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern enterprise process architecture, including process frameworks, governance models, ownership structures, and decision rights to drive operational consistency and clarity.
• Establish clear accountability and decision-making across end-to-end processes, ensuring effective governance and ownership.
• Establish standards, governance, and continuous improvement for critical manufacturing processes, including Engineering Change Management, NPI/Industrialization, Non-Conformity Management, CAPEX, and Planning.
• Drive process excellence through robust master data governance, risk management, and cross-functional accountability across the manufacturing value chain.
• Drive organizational simplification by eliminating process waste, governance complexity, and decision-making bottlenecks to improve agility and execution speed.
• Streamline processes and governance structures to enhance efficiency, accountability, and business responsiveness.
• Lead business process readiness for digital transformation, partnering with Digital teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions and ensuring processes are optimized before automation and digitization.
• Design and optimize governance frameworks that enable fast decision-making, clear accountability, data integrity, and consistent process compliance across the organization.

The Head of Business Process Excellence is a Director level role responsible for designing, governing and continuously improving the cross-functional business processes that enable operational excellence across the Vestas value chain. The mission is to eliminate organizational complexity, improve execution speed and create seamless integration between functions, primarily with operations & Manufacturing stakeholders.

The role acts as the architect of the operational governance system.

You Will

What We Are Looking For

Strong process thinker with a practical manufacturing mindset. Able to understand complex E2E processes, simplify and standardize them, establish clear governance and connect business requirements with systems and data.

What You Bring

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Processes or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and E2E business processes.
• Experience with ERP/MES and manufacturing digital environments
• Proven experience in process standardization and transform
