Job summary

PureGym Denmark is seeking a Head of HR to lead the People & HR strategy for the Danish gym operations. The role requires strong leadership, partnership with operations directors, and governance of workforce planning and talent initiatives.

The Head of HR will manage a small HR team, travel to offices four days a week, and also travel to sites across Switzerland. This is a 12-month fixed-term position with a focus on engagement and retention of gym teams.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a Senior HR BP / Head of HR role.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Experienced team leader, able and happy to manage and develop a combination of junior and senior HR professionals.
• Highly collaborative and care about getting a great result for the benefit of the people team and business.
• Proven ability of personal collaboration and creating an environment where others work well together in a fast moving growth business.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Gym Operations to drive the People & HR strategy across the estate.
• Coach managers on people-related matters to increase capability.
• Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, retention, succession planning and resource forecasting.
• Lead a team of HR Business Partners and HR project resources, ensuring a commercially focused HR service.
• Oversee governance, data analysis and compliance to support long-term business success.
