Job summary

Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) in Copenhagen invites Architectural Technologist interns to help advance BIM-based design and construction detailing on Danish and international projects.

You will work within multidisciplinary teams, translating concepts into buildable solutions and improving your modelling, detailing and technical knowledge under supervision. The internship lasts at least six months in a dynamic office setting.

Qualifications

• Has completed at least two years of architectural education.
• Is currently enrolled as a student.
• Has knowledge with Revit; Rhino is a bonus.
• Strong interest in BIM, detailing and building technology.
• Fluent in English and able to work in Copenhagen.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical development and realization of BIM projects.
• Translate architectural concepts into technically viable solutions.

We are looking for motivated and curious Architectural Technologist students to join our Copenhagen office as interns. You will work alongside experienced architects, designers and technical specialists on Danish and international projects, contributing to projects across different scales and stages of development. **The role**As an Architectural Technologist Intern, you will contribute to the technical development and realization of complex architectural projects. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help translate architectural concepts into technically viable solutions while developing your skills in BIM, detailing, constructability and building technology. **Your work may include:*** Contributing to Danish and international projects* Developing building interfaces and technical solutions based on architectural concepts* Supporting project principles, details and building technology* Working with BIM models and developing your understanding of modelling principles and office standards* Assisting with BIM efforts* Collaborating with architects, engineers and external consultants* Participating in project meetings and multidisciplinary coordination* Developing your knowledge of complex BIM projects and construction processesAs you develop in the role, you will have opportunities to take on greater responsibility and contribute to technical and architectural solutions.
