Job summary

Ambu A/S in Denmark is seeking a Hardware Solution Architect for EndoIntelligence hardware within Global R&D. You will define and mature hardware solutions for endoscopy platforms, collaborating with systems engineers, suppliers, and partners to deliver robust, scalable solutions that meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Participate in early-phase product development activities, including concept development, technology evaluations, and feasibility assessments.
• Guide the development and maturation of hardware solutions in collaboration with cross-functional development teams.
• Define and maintain solution architectures for new products and platform developments.
• Collaborate across mechanical, electronics, optics, manufacturing, and software disciplines to develop integrated system solutions.
• Support architectural trade-off discussions balancing performance, reliability, manufacturability, risk, and cost.
• Ensure solutions are aligned with system requirements, architectural principles, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers and technology partners on technical evaluations, component selection, and solution development.
• Contribute technical input to project planning and development activities.
• Maintain solution documentation and support architectural reviews.
• Support development and verification activities by helping resolve technical challenges and identifying potential risks.
