Job description

The Group Treasurer owns the full treasury mandate for Nobia Group, spanning both the operational and the strategic.

Nobia Group is one of Europe’s largest kitchen specialists, listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, with operations across the Nordics.

Treasury today functions primarily as a reporting unit – tracking cash and positions, but not yet driving the active, data-driven cash management, risk governance, and financial optimisation that a group of this size and complexity both needs and deserves.

We are looking for a Group Treasurer who changes that. Someone who combines deep technical command of treasury with a data-driven mindset and the analytical rigour to turn treasury data into actionable insight – continuously optimising liquidity, cost of funding, and financial risk across the Group.

This role sits at the centre of the newly established CFO Office in Tilst and will be a key voice in Group Finance leadership.

Scope of the Role

The Group Treasurer owns the full treasury mandate for Nobia Group, spanning both the operational and the strategic. The role covers:

  • Cash & liquidity management – daily cash positioning, cash pooling, and intercompany funding across all Group entities
  • Debt & financing – management of Group credit facilities, RCF, and banking relationships; preparation for refinancing events
  • Financial risk management – FX, interest rate, and counterparty risk; policy design and hedging execution
  • Cash flow forecasting & analytics – data-driven short- and medium-term liquidity forecasting, with rigorous variance analysis, KPI dashboards, and continuous improvement of forecast accuracy and methodology
  • Working capital optimisation & analytics – structured analysis of DIO, DSO, and DPO across the Group, identifying levers and driving improvement in partnership with Finance and Operations
  • Treasury governance, systems & data – treasury management system (TMS) utilisation, data architecture, bank account structure, authorisation matrix, and internal controls; ensuring treasury operates on a solid, scalable data foundation
Key Responsibilities
Cash Management & Liquidity
  • Take active, data-driven ownership of the Group’s cash position – building real-time visibility across entities, moving from passive reporting to proactive optimisation, and using data to drive decisions on liquidity deployment, timing, and cost
  • Operate and continuously optimise the Group’s cash pool structure – using data to identify inefficiencies in liquidity concentration, minimise idle cash, and ensure optimal deployment of funds across entities and currencies
  • Build and own a data-driven cash flow forecasting capability – establishing structured forecast models, rigorous actuals-vs-forecast variance tracking, and KPI-based reporting that gives management reliable forward visibility on liquidity
  • Lead data-driven working capital optimisation – using cash conversion cycle analytics, DIO/DSO/DPO benchmarking, and structured improvement programmes in close collaboration with Finance, Operations, and Commercial leadership
Debt, Financing & Banking
  • Manage the Group’s existing credit facilities and banking relationships, ensuring headroom visibility and covenant compliance at all times
  • Lead preparation for refinancing processes – from lender analysis and documentation through to execution – in close partnership with the Group CFO
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with relationship banks, rating agencies, and financial counterparties
  • Support M&A, capex, and strategic transactions with treasury analysis and financing input
Risk Management
  • Own and continuously develop the Group’s financial risk policy, covering FX, interest rate, and counterparty exposure
  • Execute hedging programmes in accordance with policy, ensuring commercial exposures are managed within approved risk appetite
  • Build and maintain data-driven treasury risk dashboards – providing the Group CFO, Audit Committee, and Board with clear, structured visibility on FX, interest rate, and counterparty exposures, including scenario analysis and sensitivity modelling
Strategic Advisory & CFO Partnership
  • Act as a trusted, analytically grounded advisor to the Group CFO and Group CEO on treasury matters – translating data and financial positions into strategic insight, scenario-based recommendations, and clear decisions
  • Contribute to the Group’s strategic planning and capital allocation discussions with well-founded treasury analysis and scenario modelling
  • Represent treasury in Board and Audit Committee materials – able to present complex positions clearly and credibly to a listed-company governance audience
  • Identify and articulate opportunities to structurally improve the Group’s financial flexibility, cost of funding, and cash generation
What We Are Looking For
Experience
  • Proven track record in a treasury role at Group or Corporate level, ideally within a listed, multi-currency, multi-entity environment.
  • Hands-on experience with cash pool structures, FX hedging, and credit facility management – you have done this, not just reported on it
  • Familiarity with refinancing processes and bank negotiations; experience with covenant compliance and lender reporting in a listed-company context is an advantage
  • Background from a group treasury function, corporate bank, or Big Four corporate finance – a combination of advisory and in-house experience is particularly valued; familiarity with treasury management systems (TMS), ERP integration, and data/reporting tooling is a strong advantage
Competencies
  • Technical mastery – you have deep command of treasury instruments, structures, and markets, and are credible with banks, auditors, and sophisticated counterparties
  • Optimisation mindset – you do not just operate the function, you improve it systematically; you identify structural inefficiencies in cash, cost of funding, and risk, quantify the opportunity, and drive change. You think in terms of optimisation, not just compliance
  • Executive presence – you communicate with authority and precision at CFO and CEO level; you are persuasive without being promotional, and direct without being blunt
  • Ownership mindset – you take responsibility for outcomes, not just activities; you are dissatisfied with a function that simply tracks cash and energised by one that actively shapes it
  • Data-driven mindset & analytical rigour – you are energised by data; you build structured models, establish KPI frameworks, track actuals vs. forecast with discipline, and present scenario-based recommendations with the precision expected in a listed-company context. You treat treasury as an analytical function, not just an operational one
Language & Education
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Relevant academic background in Finance, Economics, or Business; professional treasury qualification is an advantage but not a requirement
What We Offer
  • A mandate to transform treasury from a reporting function into a data-driven optimisation engine – with the full backing of the Group CFO and Group CEO, and a clear brief to build the systems, analytics, and processes that a modern listed-group treasury demands
  • Direct access to and close collaboration with the Group CFO – you will be a key member of the CFO Office, not a function operating in isolation
  • A seat in a professionally ambitious Group Finance organisation at the centre of Nobia’s strategic transformation – where treasury decisions actually matter
  • Competitive compensation package commensurate with seniority and scope
  • Headquarters in Tilst, Aarhus – the home of Nobia’s Group CFO Office – with flexibility for travel to key banking and Group locations
