Job summary

BAADER seeks a Strategic Buyer based in Denmark to shape sourcing strategies across Denmark, the Netherlands, with future expansion to Malaysia and the USA. You will balance long-term, risk-mitigating sourcing with sales-driven opportunities, ensuring strong supplier performance and standardization across functions.

You will join a growing international procurement team and contribute to the professionalization of the function while collaborating with engineering and operations to drive value

Qualifications

• Strong negotiation and influencing skills in international environments.
• Strong analytical capabilities with an assertive mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work with technical products and engineering stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills and experience with change management.
• Strong language acumen in Danish and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage global supplier accounts focusing on QLTCS (Quality, Logistics, Technology, Cost, Sustainability).
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Drive supplier development initiatives and maintain strong contractual frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and other functions to align sourcing decisions.
• Lead supplier selection qualification and contracting processes for new products.
