Job summary

DTU Physics in Lyngby invites a proactive student assistant to help manage SPARKLE, a Marie Skłodowska‑Curie Doctoral Network coordinated by DTU Physics and funded by the EU. The role focuses on communication, organisation and visibility of the network across Europe.

You will work with the network coordinator and project management to inform partners, PhD students and the public about SPARKLE achievements, events and activities, while supporting reporting to the European Commission.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme at DTU or another Danish university.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Interest in science communication and in communicating to a broad audience.
• Familiar with social media and standard IT tools (e.g. Microsoft Office).
• Organised, reliable and service-minded.

Responsibilities

• Support internal and external communication in the network, e.g. newsletters, announcements and updates of the SPARKLE website.
• Keep SPARKLE social media channels active by creating and posting content about the research, events and people in the network.
• Collect and keep track of scientific output from all partners for reporting to the European Commission.
• Help plan and organise network events, including practical coordination with partners and participants.
• Assist with other administrative and coordination tasks related to the network.
