Job summary

LEO Pharma is seeking a Global Program Director to turn strategy into execution for its development portfolio. You will own integrated plans and budgets, enabling a global program team to deliver decisions with external partners across assets.

You will partner with senior leaders to align cross-functional teams, manage risk, and drive best practices in project management and drug development from a global, matrix organization.

Qualifications

• University degree in life science (BSc, MSc, Cand. Pharm, MD, or PhD).
• Extensive drug development experience at program level with strong project or program management.
• Demonstrated learning agility and ability to operate in ambiguity.
• Experience with cross-functional and multinational teams in a matrix environment.
• Experience with partnered development and joint governance bodies (JDCs/JSCs) is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Frame the decisions required at each stage, organizing the team to develop options and scenario plans.
• Lead the Global Program Team in developing stage-appropriate plans, timelines, budgets, and integrated product planning.
• Coordinate program plans and budgets across functions, challenge assumptions, monitor execution against timelines, costs and quality.
• Ensure information and reporting are accurate and decision-ready for governance.
• Facilitate high-performing global team collaboration with effective meeting leadership and stakeholder engagement.
• Partner with external collaborators and governance bodies across development partners.
