Job summary

GEA Germany GmbH in Søborg, Denmark, seeks a Project Engineer to support customer projects in the process industries from engineering through commissioning, working with Project Managers and Engineers. You will own defined technical tasks, ensure documentation readiness, and coordinate with procurement, workshops, and suppliers to meet project requirements.

The role involves collaboration across disciplines and cultures, with potential travel for FATs, inspections, and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering or similar technical discipline.
• Interest in technical project execution within process, food, dairy, or pharmaceutical industry.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and verify technical documentation such as P&IDs, General Arrangements, and Equipment Lists.
• Support design reviews and contribute to Impact Assessments related to design changes, deviations, or scope adjustments.
• Specify, order, and follow up on process equipment, utility systems, valves, and piping components in cooperation with Procurement, workshops, and suppliers.
• Prepare and maintain FAT request lists and support FAT execution.
• Support CVOs with technical input and documentation, and coordinate with Packaging & Shipment to ensure equipment is delivered according to project requirements.
• Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, testing, troubleshooting, Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and final acceptance.
• Travel for FATs, inspections, and commissioning as needed.
