Job summary

Ambu A/S is seeking a Global Process Owner for Procure to Pay to lead the ERP transformation from demand through payment, based in Ballerup, Denmark.

You will work with Global Operations, Finance and IT to design and implement global P2P standards, drive adoption across sites and travel internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience across the Procure to Pay value stream and interfaces to Finance and Supply Chain.
• Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing global template processes in a complex international organization.
• Experience in medical devices, life sciences or regulated industries preferred.
• Delivered global process transformation or ERP implementation.
• Ability to challenge local practices and establish global standards.
• Experience with Infor M3, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud or similar; willingness to travel internationally.

Global Process Owner, Procure to Pay

Ambu A/S is currently looking for a Global Process Owner, Procure to Pay to be based in Ballerup, Denmark

In this role, you will own Ambu’s global end-to-end Procure to Pay process within our ERP transformation, from purchasing demand and supplier engagement through ordering, receipt, invoicing and payment. You will report to the Global Operations Program Director, with a functional reporting line to the VP Procurement & Facility, and work closely with Global Business Owners, other Global Process Owners, Finance, IT, Quality, sites and implementation partners.

This is a unique opportunity to shape a critical global process within a major transformation. It will suit an experienced procurement or P2P professional who combines strategic thinking with hands‑on transformation delivery.

Key responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Owning the global P2P process design, standards, controls and performance

• Leading fit‑to‑standard process design with business experts, IT and our implementation partner

• Simplifying, standardizing and automating transactional flows to reduce manual work

• Driving stakeholder engagement, training, readiness and adoption across sites

Suggested candidate profile

Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you:

• Have experience across the Procure to Pay value stream and its interfaces to Finance and Supply Chain

• Hold a degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience

• Have designed global template processes in a complex international organization

• Ideally come from medical devices, life sciences, pharmaceuticals or another regulated industry

• Have delivered global process transformation or ERP implementation

• Can challenge local practices constructively and create clarity on global standards

• Have Infor M3, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud or similar experience and are flexible to travel internationally
