Job summary

Arla Foods is seeking a Data Scientist to help shape milk planning through advanced forecasting and optimization. You will work in IT & Digital, partnering with global planning teams and leveraging Azure, Databricks and SAP-IBP integrations.

You will develop forecasting models, support the One Milk Balance and One Intake systems, and translate analytics into Power BI reporting for decision-makers across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a data-related field.
• At least two years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Databricks and Azure-based data solutions.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into practical solutions.
• Proactive and collaborative approach with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop forecasting and optimisation solutions using Python, SQL, Databricks, Azure and MLOps.
• Support the operational performance of One Milk Balance and One Intake.
• Turn analytical insights into actionable Power BI reporting.
• Collaborate with global planners to improve forecasting, planning and decision-making.
