Job summary

Ambu in the Copenhagen area is hiring an R&D Innovation New Product Introduction Engineer (Process Development) based in Ballerup. You will join a global team and work closely with R&D designers to influence manufacturing and assembly design (DFM/DFA) and to set up, validate and optimize processes.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, process development and early design-for-manufacturing expertise, with up to 20 travel days per year.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Structured approach with openness and drive for success.

• Comfortable in an international, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate manufacturing processes for new/existing products.
• Lead process development, validation, and equipment specification.
• Apply DFM and DFA principles in process development.
• Source and implement internal/external manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs.
• Serve as process expert for manufacturing processes.
• Facilitate optimization using appropriate tools.
• Participate in international/local integrated development teams.
• Travel 0-20 days per year.
